There’s a lot of pressure on the Maid of Honor to ensure the bride’s day is perfect. Oftentimes, it’s a fine line to walk – you don’t want to step on toes and take over but you also want to make sure that you’re doing everything you can. If you’re struggling to find something that will really stand out as an amazing MOH gift, read on.
Before the wedding, pick out a 5×7” frame. During the ceremony, ask a friend or family member that is attending to stealthily take a photo of the bride and groom at the end of the ceremony or another memorable moment. Then, between the ceremony and reception, run to a place that prints photos (Walgreens, Walmart, etc.) or ask someone to do this for you to get the photo printed out. Insert it into the frame and get it on to the head table, facing the bride and groom.
After they make their grand entrance at the reception and sit down at the table, they will be looking at the first photo of them as a married couple and of them together in their beautiful wedding attire.
It’s a wonderful gesture and a touching moment to first see yourselves on the day you commit your love. It takes some work and potential bribing to get it to happen, but it’s a truly special gift that can never be replicated.
